Grand Opening of Shreveport Design Studio Boasts Nationally Acclaimed and Locally Featured Tastemakers
Tastemaker Showcase is the Place for Unique Hostess Gifts

SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA, September 19, 2019

The creative minds of Jenny Johnston Interiors, Jane AllenDesigns, and artist Jessica O’Neill have come together to become Northwest Louisiana’s chicest creative co-op. Join the three designers in celebrating the grand opening of the Shreveport Design Studio Thursday, October 3rd from 4p.m. to 8p.m. CST.

Interior designer Jenny Johnston [Jenny Johnston Interiors] first met jewelry designer Janie Dickson [Jane Allen Designs] through mutual friends. Both noticed a gap in the Shreveport market for a creative meeting and shopping space. Looking to expand their brands and client offerings the two designers began to seek a location together. Shortly after artist Jessica O’Neill moved from Savannah, GA to Shreveport and wasintroduced to the pair.

“Their progressive mindset and desire to develop Northwest Louisiana as a creative hub was extremelyrelatable,” says Jessica O’Neill. “I see Shreveport as a place with exponential artistic potential. And I believeJenny, Janie, and I can be a model for other artisanal boutique businesses.”

Jenny Johnston adds, “More and more clients want fresh perspectives and ideas. With the world of design at the fingertips of anyone with a [smart] phone, the studio will allow me to help my clients navigate interiortrends to quality design.”

Collectively their work has graced the pages of Traditional Home magazine, been spotted on New York Time’s Bestsellers, and hailed by editors and bloggers alike. But it is their collaborative can-do attitude that sets this co-op apart.

“Our design studio is not only about what we have to offer. The purpose is also to seek and find local, regional, and national talents to ignite the Shreveport market place,” states O’Neill.

The initial spark will coincide with the grand opening. The first of their semi-annual Tastemaker Showcase will highlight the work of renowned embroidery and linen designer Hibiscus Linens and exuberant seasonal florals by local Brianna Belton Designs.

“We have taken the stress out of shopping for a thoughtful present. Hibiscus Linens is the epitome of luxury, heirloom linens and Belton’s inspired arrangements and subscription service are just-in-time for the holidays!”says Janie Dickson. The studio aims to connect shoppers with established and emerging artists and brands.
